    Default Suburban bad brakes

    88 subby......brakes are bad.....pedal goes to the floor......if i slam on them i believe the rear brakes engage.....could it be air in the lines...HELP
    hey buddy.....if I was worried about gas mileage Id have you tuning up my ten speed....shut up and change the plugs please.

    Yes, if you had them apart. If not been worked on lately, you have a leak somewhere. Look on the ground/floor for a puddle of fluid, or crawl under and look at the inside of the wheels.

    Pop the top on the master cylinder and see if the fluid is way down. Id one side is empty, you likely have a leak. If its full, you may have a bad master cylinder....or air in the lines
