    Default S-10 motor upsize

    I have a '99 s10 with the 2.2 motor in it.. I would like to know if a v-6 will fit in it with modifications

    check out http://www.advanceadapters.com/ everything you will need and you can fit a V8 in there with a little work if you like..

    Cp performance also has v8 swap stuff, I had the 4.3 in mine and I loved it but you could do a v8 for just a little more money and work.

    If your truck is like my 87: I had to cut a wrench sized hole in the frame so I could bolt the perches down for the motor mounts. You'll have to swap computers and most likely the wire harness. Me personally, I would just do an ls swap and be done with it
