    Default '90 suburban problems

    1990 Chevy Suburban R1500

#1: The first thing that went wrong was the speedo. The needle used to fly back and forth and rest on 0, 65, or max, but it would work sometimes. Now it only rests at 65. I was told it was analog so I tore the dash apart and pulled it. It's all digital. Any ideas of the problem or somewhere to get a cheap one.

#2: The master window switch used to work for all the windows, until the back passenger switch went out on it. That was shortly followed by my driver's window only going down. When I would try to get it back up, all the guages and lights would dim. If I did it enough it would finally close. It is now stuck open and I installed a new switch from lmc truck, but the driver's window still wont close.

#3: The rear barn doors are a pain in the ass to get open. I have to crawl into the back where I pulled the panel off to slide the "inside lock mechanism" up and pull it back to pop open the door. I don't know what to do about that.

#4: The parking brake light is constantly flashing.

Other than these problems, I love the truck.
I ALSO AM IN NEED OF A DRIVER'S SIDE FENDER, VENT WINDOW GLASS (PASSENGER), FRONT BUMPER, DRIVER'S DOOR MIRROR ADJUST BACK TRIM PANEL, AND A NEW DASH PAD.

Which side barn door is giving you problems. My driver's side was doing the same thing and I can tell you what I did to fix it.
