    Default Silverado in hospital

Well, after 468,000 miles, the poor silverado tried to commit suicide the other day. We towed him to my dad's shop and the trans guy said let me see if i can fix it cheap as a favor to us. we will see. I think we might have to put it down.

The truck wasn't the same anyways since we got it back.

With that many miles, it deserves a rest!

Wow, that's a lot of miles. Might be time for it to be retired!

I disagree. You need to get past 500K, just because - it's 500K!!!

That's awesome it made it that far! It gives us all inspiration that our trucks just might last that long too!

it is the 1990 silverado that was stolen and recovered. it has a V8 5.7 liter. same engine for all the miles.

Think of it this way. If you tried to sell it and factored in the blue book deduction for mileage, you would have to pay big bux for someone just to take it off your hands. Might as well run it for as long as you can.

oh, there is no selling it, have you seen the pictures. it hasn't been put back together again yet. we are still waiting to see how much to fix it. that would be cool to get 500 out of it. it will either be fixed or sent to the junk yard.
