    Default VCR to DVD swap??

    My new-to-me 2001 Suburban has a rather large flip down screen with a VCR under the middle seat. I can't get it to play anything although the power button glows. It looks factory. The screen has no buttons at all and no remote came with it.

    Can I replace the VCR with a DVD and how much (ball park) would it likely be?

    that is something i would recomend taking to best buy,circut city, car toys, frys or some sort of local car audio shop

    you may be lucky enough to be able to buy a dvd setup that simply plugs in and comes with a remote of some sort
