    Default need performance help

    i have a 2001 gmc sierra 4x4 w/ a 4.8l v8 engine and i had a guy tell me that an eaton supercharger off of a buick or ford v6 would be a cheap and easy performance upgrade for my truck and im just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this before

    those superchargers are designed for those v 6 motors, and you have a v-8, for about 5800 bucks you can geta magnacharger(roots style) or an sts remote mount turbo for under 5 grand. those superchargers will not work , trust me, we have tried one from a series 2 3.8 , no way unless u own a cnc facility and alot of software
    2002 silverado 4.3 5spd / off road y pipe, flowmaster split duals, K&N filter
    ported throttle body , ported heads and intake < all by me
