Default size tires with a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit?

I am putting a rough country 2 1/2 in leveling kit on my 2000 chevy silverado z71 and i was originally looking at some 265/70 r17 nitto terra grapplers with KMC addicts. And i have seen pics of this these size tires with the same kit, but my question is should i go up to 285's or keep it at 265's?

285's will fit... 33x12.5 will fit with the correct wheel offset.

What do you think would look better, the 285's or the 265's?

285's... I've had both. The 285s will fill the wheel wells better. 285's are what I am running in my pic's.

x2 on 285s. They are almost 32.5's. A true 33 as stated above will be perfect for that truck with that kit. I've had some kids want to hack up their truck and I've even put 35's on them.. Looked good, just in a straight line.
