    Question 96 suburban speed sensor

    where is the vehicle speed sensor located on my sub,its 4 wheel drive ,engine 5.7,k1500 series,i bought one today that had a big metal bracket attached to it ,i looked all over that trans and could not find that part on there,2 things i thought of is it maybe behind the dash,or the part i got a replacement part and wouldnt look exactly the same as the one already on there any info would be greatly appericated thanks

    Located on the transmission. check both sides. Should be pretty obvious.
