Default new to forum w/ 1997 GMC Jimmy

I have a 97 Jimmy w/ 218000 mi and I love it. I put a 2.5 in suspension lift & 31 Inch goodyears on recently. Also have cold air intake. Wondering if anyone has put in a throttle body spacer. Is it worth the money?

Denver native. Read mixed reviews. Also that it depends on the vehicle make. Just trying to get better throttle response.

Have you done the throttle body mod? If you look on the throttle plate inside the throttle body there is a little restricter thing attached to the bottom. You can cut it off and it gives you that extra throttle response. In fact, hold on i have the link to how to do it. It's very easy i'm gonna do it to my xtreme 4.3.

while you're at it you should take the whole throttle body off and clean it entirely plus you'll have good access to the plate. Very simple to take off
