Hello all,
Well this is going to be my very first post on this forum so, in advance I would like to thank all that offer help, try to help or do help with my problem.

I have an '01 2500HD with the 8.1L and Allison 5-speed. For quite some time now I have has a problem with the ABS light and Brake light coming on simultaneously. This is very intermittent, does not appear to have any ill effects that I have been able to notice and may go away just as quickly as it popped up. Some times it may come on and stay on for a day or two, other times it may come on and then go off in 10 minutes and not come back for weeks. There does not seem to be a specific trigger either. Some times its on as soon as I start the vehicle and others it may pop on going down the highway at 70 after having been driving for quite some time. I have searched a lot through Google and never been able to find an answer. I have not yet gone to the dealer as the ones around here charge $85 just for you to drive into their check-in bay and talk to them.
