I'm originally from Michigan (thumb/Bay City) area...lived in Michigan for 25 years...now I'm in Indiana...but I'll never be a Hoosier.
But I live in South Bend now...so I'm close to Michigan. Does that count? 
But I've road all kinds of trails in Michigan...Silver Lake many, many times, trails up by Rose City, Gladwin, the list goes on & on.
