    I have not yet figured it out but today I got a random misfire code and cylinder 5 misfire code engine is running rough I do believe that is totally unrelated though.

    All righty then, time to check your ground wires ,body to frame, engine to frame/body, then check the battery, and the alternator! Your gonna want the battery up prim an proper! Check your dist. cap and wires! (you haven't given us much history on the vehicle) so give it a tune up! Check the fuel filter, fuel pump pressure,,, yaddy,,,yadddy,,,yaddy!

    Default 2000 Jimmy P0446 code help

    Changed the cap and rotor , plugs, wires the misfire went away and hasn't triggered the evap code yet new o2 sensors before the cat as well as far as recent parts go.
