I installed the 3" over the weekend, It looks great and I had no problems with the kit itself it went on really good. The problem I did have was with removing my old driver side spindle it was firmly stuck to the lower ball joint, We tried everything from a pickle fork, hammer, ball joint press, and even a torch it would not come off, so we just decided to replace the ball joint to get the spindle off, so out comes the drill and chisel's. It took at least 6 or 7 hours to remove the dang rivets holding the ball joint in, but once we got them out it only took me an hour to get the final spindle on and have it off to the alignment shop. Over all it kit itself went on with out any problems and it looks great, now I just need to save up for some bigger tires.

looks awesome!! what size tires are on there?

For now its just the stock 245/75 R16 BFG All terrain's, I love the tires got over 50,000 miles on them and still plenty of tread left. I plan on going a little bigger and wider the next time I replace them which will be a while as I am a college student and I just spent what I saved up on the lift. I just couldn't stand my truck being so low anymore so when I found that lift so cheep I jumped on it and put it on. Can you blame a guy for wanting to sit up tall while driving.

I did the same thing to my first truck, an 1994 GMC half ton 2wd, I put a 4" Fabtech lift on it and had some 31x10.5 R 15 Big O X/T Big Foot Tires,
Here's Pic of my old 1994 GMC Before I sold it, If I could get it back I would at the drop of a hat.

And, Heres my Silverado right after I got it. As stock as it comes,

are you serious? fender wells must get smaller! I run the same exact tire on a 1996 1500 silverado Z71 and with a few tortion bar turns no rubbing with no lift of any kind.
