Have you guys seen this? It's Lingenfelter's 2014 Silverado Reaper. Check out the stats on it ... will it be a direct challenger to the Ford Raptor or is there not enough done to the suspension and just a ton of HP was added? THOUGHTS?

It just says "Ride Tech suspension package". What all does that include?

There are some things I like about it but a lot of things I don't like about it.

Seeing how the base truck is almost $50,000 to start, what is this truck going to cost? $100,000?

Well my overall thoughts about this. I think everybody (or at least me!) was surprised at just how well the Raptor has been selling. It looked at first to be very niche market... but has proved to be otherwise. Styling, personally, I think the Raptor looks alot better. Something about the way the front hood and grill look just makes this Chevy Reaper kinda ugly in my opinion. I really don't like how the grill slants away from the headlights.

The two bigger things about this: 1) Price - As McClintoc has pointed out...what's this thing actually gonna cost??? You can get a Raptor for $42k... 2) Can GM really take credit for this truck? Personally, I don't give GM credit for other Lingenfelter performance I don't think I can for the Reaper either. This truck wasn't planned and produced by the Engineers at Chevrolet... it's created by an aftermarket performance shop.

Lingenfelter definitely makes some cool vehicles... and I would add this to their cool list. But I don't understand the articles I've seen online making this sound like Chevy is stepping up trying to challenge the Raptor. Oh well, just my .02 cents.

Ive done a little reading on this incredible piece of machinery and from what i understand the suspension is made by Fox just like the Raptor so i cant imagine they would spare any specs in comparison. My friend has a Raptor and i must say they are beasts but im a chevy guy so id rather dump $$ into my chevy than buy a Ford already built.

The grill is the only thing that hangs me up about this truck

I like the front end I think it looks mean.. The only thing I find strange is how the hood almost overlaps the headlights on the upper inside corner.. doesnt look like it conforms to the headlight there.
