    Default 89 Silverado gauge cluster problem Freaks Out when turn signals are turned on...

    I have a 89 Silverado that the gauges go nuts when I turn on the turn signals. The volt meter jumps, the gas gauge goes to E, the oil pressure jumps and a few of the idiot lights go on and off including the high beam light. HELP!!! I have no clue what is wrong. Thanks in advance...

    Hey Camo-

    I don't have any advice or remedies but have kind of the same thing going on.

    Click the turn signal on and the volt meter dips in tune with the blinker light being on.

    Weird.

    Check your turn signal relay, and make sure all your fuses are still good. It almost sounds like you have a load equalizer problem. I had that happen on my bike til I added another one for the LED's. Did you change turn signal bulbs???
