Default Qs re: Prodigy and power to accessories

Two questions regarding my 05 burb.

First, is there anyway to run the radio and/or RSE without running the engine? I ran the battery down running them with the key in the first click. Is there an accessory position for the key?

Second, jsut installed my Prodigy controller. There is a light on (one of the dots) the display that stays on even with the engine off and the key out. I don't recall it doing that in my Touareg. Is that normal (there is no error code in the manual that matches that display)? Is it gonna drain my battery?

    Thanks,
    Kyle Burkhardt
