    Default Chrome Accessories Door Handles

Good day all, new to the site as well as new too 08' Chevy Silverado Crew Cab. I'm interested in swaping out my OEM black door handles for Chevy Chrome door handles Chevy Accessories . Any chance anyone could shoot me some tips or point me in the right direction as to how to remove current handles and install new chome handles.

    Thanks for any help provided.

to the site!! I haven't had any experience removing door handles, but I'm pretty sure there have been threads about this. Try doing a search for "chrome handles" or something like that. Good luck!

Welcome to the site! I have only seen the chrome or polished overlays like on my truck, but not full chrome replacements.

I bought the putco covers and I think they look good. I was gonna go with the full replacement but that involves taking the door panels and molding off. They are screwed on from the back. Then you just replace them and put them all back together. I got a bunch of pictures in my album if you want to check them out and also a write up I think in the how-to section. Hope this helps.

I have GM OEM chrome handles coming hopefully Friday 9/19.........do the inside door panels pop off? Screw off? Thats my biggest concern as i dont want to ruin the panel on my new rig.

I ordered new handles from Chevrolet....Just need to know how to get to them. I'm concerned about damaging the interior door panel.

I think the panels just pop off. They should be held on with clips. Every door on every vehicle I've taken off is just clips.
