my truck has a 5.3 325 engine in it, im thinking of upgrading. just because im bored with the same ol slugish power. i love my truck, so i only want the best for it. im thinking of super chargers or turbos for it. im not sure of sizes or types, or what else needs to go along with the upgrade, EX: injectors, lifters, cam ETC.... if there is anyone that could help me with this upgrade please... let me know.

What mods do you have so far? Just replacing your exhaust, intake, and custom tuning your ECM (or a programmer) will show you impressive gains.

i just have the usual stuff, exhaust, and an intake. cant really get much for it. i have had the truck since it was new and put both mods on it then. back when it was new they really didnt have much for it. what programer do you recomend for it? hypertech..... maybe? im not too sure.

If you want more speed, swap your final gears to 3.23

I'll keep my money, guns, and freedom. You keep the Change.
It depends on where you want the power. If you want to just feel a general difference then yes, the intake and exhaust will help. I've done both and you can tell a difference. A programmer will help too, I've heard that the hypertechs dont do much. I'm looking into a Bully Dog-Triple Dog gas.
After that it’s depending on whether you want more speed or towing/off-roading capabilities. If you want more speed changing the gears to a 3:23 will help, especially if you have a 3:73s. If you want just a little bit more towing power or torque depending on what gears you have, going up will help. Like changing: 3:55 to 3:73 or 3:73 to 4:10. If you want a big change and your truck is lifted, 4:56s might help you there.
