I recently purchased the Banks "Ram Air" intake for my 2005 DuraMax, but have not installed it yet, as I have been thinking about buying the "super Scoop" inlet also. For those who may have purchased the intake first, then added the inlet later...........did you notice any difference before and after and was the expense of the inlet justified?
Thanks........
The area of difference I'm looking for is MPG when hauling my 1.5 ton camper around!!

You brought up a very good question as more and more intakes are coming out with the ram-air scoop. I have an AFE stage 1 that i bought for my duramax amd was looking at purchasing the stage2 and saw they have a stage2 with the ram-air inlet scoop. Interesting to find out if it's worth the extra money for one.
