I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, 8.1L with a 6-speed manual transmission. I am having to push my clutch all the way to the floor with little to no resistance in order to shift. Is there anyway to adjust this or is it time for a new clutch? (I only have 80,000 miles on the OEM clutch) If it is time for a new one, can someone recommend a non OEM clutch manufacturer?
I didn't know you could get an 8.1 with a manual tranny. i learn something new every day

I'll keep my money, guns, and freedom. You keep the Change.

Is there a problem with it actually engaging when you are on the clutch or just the no resistance?

Just no resistance. It engages fine once I press down enough.
Yeah, had to special order. I have 4.10 gears..it could pull a house down, that's why I think I need an aftermarket clutch, too much power for an OEM clutch.
