Default Video from Navigation System - 2008 Silverado

I have a 2008 Silverado with the Factory Navigation and Bose system. Does anyone have information on how to bypass to display video and if it is capable of DVD playback?

Actually after I look at it more. I don't think this will matter for me. I have an extended cab which did come with the navigation and bose system but not the rear entertainment so I'm not sure the head unit can even play DVDs. Can anyone confirm if they are different?
