Have a question about lift kits and warrenty!
I have an 08 z71 with 3.73 gear and locking diff. Now what are good 2-3 inch lifts and will they affect my powertrain warrenty? ALso what size wheel and tire would be good. Now i wanna try to keep some good gas mileage lol

i cant think of any 2-3 inch lifts. unless you go with a leveling kit to raise the front. cst makes a 4 inch lift but its pretty pricey. the lift will void your warranty only if it can be proven that it was the cause of the problem

I asked my service guy at the dealership before having my lift installed and he said basically the same thing common dude said.

You could go with a 3" body lift. I highly doubt you'll have a problem with voiding any warranties there.

A lift and bigger tires certainly isnt going to help your mileage any...

I get 16+ in the city and 19 on the freeway. Not bad for a 5-ton rig.
