Default 1990 burb, sputters off idle

    Hello,
have a sputter/stumble off idle. I am guessing that it is something with the idle circuit(?). I don't know much about the TBI I have on this. It is a 1/2 ton 1500 with auto and 5.7. All stock.

A mechanic suggested a couple of things, tho it's been a while since I talked with him over the phone.

    Thanks

Bad gas if your running the cheap stuff stop now Bite the bullet and buy mid grade to the top dollar stuff 2 or three tanks should stop the problem if that doesn't help run injector/fuel system cleaner(with the better gas) through if your problem continues have the idle circuit looked at my truck did the same thing for a month befor i figured it out I was lucky it was cheap gas syndrome. It might be that simple hope this helps.
