    Default paint scuff removal

Dunno how it happend but my new 08 dark blue silverado has a minor paint scuff on the front left fender. Looks like where someone opened a door. No scratch. Just looks like leftover paint from their door. Its fairly minor and you can really only tell when the sun hits it right.

Anyone know of a good way to remove it?

Liquid clay bar removes just about everything. But try some goo be gone that might work.

how safe is the clay bar? I've been kinda scared of using anything like a polishing compound or whatnot for fear of it messing up the clearcoat.

You could try some Scratch Doctor from Nu Finish. I have used it several times with good results.

It might be more than needed, but I get little scrathes when I off-road, and to fix it I use the Mother's Power Ball and any type of scratch remover. That almost always takes care of any problem I have

I ended up buying some meguiar's scratch x and used a buff pad and terry cloth. Took it out no problem
