I have a 2008 Sierra 5.3L , i have the K&N CAI , the DiabloSport tune and now i am looking to do the exhaust , What is the perfered choice, i was thinking cutting off the pipe from just after the flextube and then going with a flowmaster with dual outlets ,What does everyone think ?

Should sound good. I went with the Magnaflow with dual side exit before the rear tire on my 08. Looks great, sounds good and easy install as you don't have to go over the axle.

i have read all thru the searchs here seems like lots of different feelings , I think I am going to stick with the flomaster and see how it sounds

This is where I orderd the magnaflow from. They are a great company. If they don't have what you are looking for ask them and they will let you know. I have order many parts for my ss/sc cobalt from them as well. I also ordered the K&n CAI for the truck from these guys as well.

Well i am still tweaking it but i noticed a HUGE difference when i put the pedal down , it actually turns on the stability trac light at 35km as the tires break loose but right now but i have read on the Diablo forum that each parameter can be tweaked so the motor will go down to the V4 mode alot better on the hwy , i used to get 14L per 100km on V8 mode and 9l per 100km in the V4 mode ,now I get 12L per 100km and 7 L per 100km in V4 mode .
I bought it at Summit racing and it was 289.00 i think
