Default Need advice on what lift to get

I am going to lift my 02' Chevy Avalanche 2500 and need some advice on how to get the desired lift of 6 inches total. Massachusetts laws says i can only go a little over 6 inches. Let me know what lift you used and tire size to achieve you final height. Thanks for any input and happy modding to all.

6inch lift you want 35's ..that will look the best
be sure to keep us updated with pics

i would recomend one of the following skyjacker; superlift; pro comp are all good lifts ... & rancho makes good shocks ..

i would not recomend a rough country lift

what kind of tires are you wanting?

I'm looking probably for TSl thornbirds. Or Mickey thompson Baja claws. Those are my first choices.

I checked out the CST, dwill and that would put me over the legal limit here. I need to leave room for tires. I was figuring on 3" lift kit with 33" tires. I just need advice on what is a good quality and what is junk. Thanks for the input though.

No problem. I did a Google search for "Avalanche 2500 Lift kit" to find that result so give it a whirl and let us know what you find.

Did the math wrong it was wb x wt / 2200 = 3.9 for lift and 3.9 for tires. I will look for a 4 in suspension with 33 tires and see what that costs and then make my choice. But I did find a leveling kit from Truxxx that was less than $300 on 4wheelonline.com that would raise the rear 1" and the front 3". That would allow 33" tires. Decissions, decissions.

That 1-3 lift will get you into 33's for sure. Here is a SITE that sells torsion bar keys and they have 33's on a stock truck w/leveling kit.
