    Cool Backpressure

    How can I elemintae it? (legally)
    I have a dumped Flowmaster and when I rev the enigne it pops when the rpms lower (backpressure)

    The last time I had "duals", I had them run out the back w/3" tips and had no popping. I know that you need "some" back pressure, but don't know how much is actually required. Good luck!

    I don't know if either of them would help. My friends who dumped they trucks always had the popping noise at low rpm, or if they had a v6. I think your best bet would be to go out the back with 3 inch pipes and 3 and half in tips. It would still give you a nice deep sound but should eliminate the pope.

    It may be the mufflers. Everything that I have Flowmasters on popes ( ) on deceleration. It doesn't bother me enough to want to change them.
