Default Tire air pressure for '08 Silverado 3500 dually...

I would like to run my tire air pressure at the lowest safe operation level to aid in traction when driiving paved and gravel roads in the Colorado high country during the winter. I live at 8300 feet elevation in the mountains on rural property outside of a small mountain town.

I have a new '08 Silverado 3500HD dually and will not be towing or hauling any loads during the winter. The roads can be quite icy, slick, and snowpacked much of the time. I need better traction without chaining up.

My current tires are new OEM, of the M&S (mud & snow) variety, running at a recommended 60 psi for all six tires (225x75-17E).

How low can I safely run my tire pressure under the above described conditions..?..
