Well,
I finally got my SS bumpers and grille back from the body shop. I decided to get a Street Scene SS front bumper and Rollpan. Had the roll pan exits cut-out for a custome exhaust to go in and also had the air vents painted a lighter color to give it a more custome and personal look. Also, got a work truck grille painted and billet grille installed on it. Here are the pics of the parts in their final state. I will be installing them in the next few days. I will post pics and probably some how-to articles too.
Enjoy and let me know what you think:

no one will paint chrome, because paint wont stick to chrome. as far as getting a non chrome grill painted, clean the surface with wax and grease remover, scuff with a gray scotch brite so there is absolutly no shine what so ever, if there is a unscuffed area the paint will not stick, i promise. once it is scuffed wipe it down again, use a tack cloth and then spray some plastic adhesion promoter on it (dupont makes and aresol spray can of it) let that sit for at least 30 minutes, and then spray your sealer, let that flash, then do the same with the base (make sure you put at least three coats for coverage even if you dont think you need to) and then follow that with at least two coats of clear

Looks great!
Only thing I'd do is put a billet grill in that bumper too. Might tie together a bit better with a polished bowtie - match the grill and wheels.... or powdercoat the grills black to match the bowtie.
Either way, looks great as it is. Similar to the plans I have for mine.
