I was on my way home, and it's been raining all day, so i decided to get my tires a little dirty
There were some big puddles and i splashed through them purdy fast.
After a little while in the mud, i noticed the engine wasn't responding too well, so i got back on the road. When i got back on the road, i gave it some gas and it started to pulse (if that makes any sense). It worked itself out and stopped pulsing but i want to know why it did that. Could i have sucked up some water? The puddles wehrent' more than a foot and a half deep, maybe a little more.
OH and when i floor it, is it normal for the oil pressure needle to shoot all the way to the right?

I'll keep my money, guns, and freedom. You keep the Change.
I won't say it's impossible that you sucked some water into the engine. More likely in my mind is that you got a connector wet, and it caused the "pulsing" until the connector got dried out.

ohh man I hit a puddle/mud pit/pond in my suburban once and stalled it out. Now I have the jeep for those types of things. My oil pressure gauge always moves some, but it doesn't pin out to the right.

sometimes if you let off on the accelerator going through water it will suck in some water best thing to do is wide open through water keep it out, unless you have a snorkle that helps. I have had mud caked in the joints and pulleys before and thats caused some sluggishness too. or like the other guy said some water on a connector.
