I'm putting my stainless steel rocker panels on myself but I'm kind of freaked out that I'll do them crooked. I'm sure it's not hard but any pointers would sure help!
And, I just wanted to use the whip.
Thanks!

I have them on my 99 tahoe mine were easy because they smply follow along the bottom edge of the body moulding. yours appears to have that too but if you are putting them further down you can get masking tape and run it along where you wish to put the chrome panels to mark them off. Then stand back and eyeball it or measure it off to make sure that it's even and level. then as you apply the chrome panels simply follow along the edge of the tape line.

post some pics when your done![]()

Lots of measuring
Use a grease pencil to mark reference points on the truck
Use tape for position orientation
Use a level whenever possible
And trial fit before any cutting or drilling
