Default Where is knock sensor on 350 TBI?

Where is the knock sensor location on a 1989 350 TBI?

I put in a new engine and can't remember where the knock sensor goes, I know it was on the passenger side, but the hole in the passenger side head is too big for the knock sensor threads???

Is there a different hole further down on the block?

Yep, it's in the block, just above the pan and forward of the starter.
    Are we having fun, yet?

    Thanks Zippy,

Maybe the engine rebulider put a plug in there? Or I just couldn't see it from in front of the truck, I'll look closer tonight!

    Yep--
I put in a new crate motor last spring, and the anti knock sensor hole was plugged. I don't recall if the plug had a proud square head, or a hex recess. I do recall that one of the factory plugs was a hex that was bigger than any allen key I have. My solution was to put a short bolt's head in the hole and then use a deep socket to spin the bolt and the plug.
