Default Model rocket with Camera installed

I remember making and shooting these things off in the 80's! Makes me want to run out and buy one.

Stop the video at :50 and take a look at that house! Wow, nice spread.

I took a day off work today, I might head down and look for one of the rockets that's ready to fly? We used to get them at the "White Elephant" in Spokane, WA. Not sure if you can just stop off at the local KB toys and get one.

Huh, I guess I moved onto other things like cars, but now that I have kids I need to teach them all about rockets and RC planes! hahahaha. second childhood!

I've got a rocket with a 35mm camera in it at the house. One of these days I'll take it out to the deer lease and set it off with my son. Hopefully it won't set the field on fire.

Yep! Even going to Walmart will net you a rocket for sure. Actually, I'm 95% sure if you go to your local (if you have one) Super Walmart you'll find the kit in the model section near the toys. Comes with the rocket, few engines, pad, controller... etc etc. Put a few more bucks into it and you can get yourself a few other rockets to shoot up while you're at it. They normally go together rather easily and quickly.

Hobby Lobby and Micheals are another place that will have them. Hobby shops pretty much all are sure to have some.

Incidentally... fun as all get-out to get those little tiny rockets and grab a pack of the longer lasting engines of the right size. (A-size, I think?) The rockets are about 3 inches high. Be prepared to not go home with it... they just take off and unless you really can keep track of it it will be gone!

Take pictures so we can all enjoy it along with you!!

    Tah!

Here we go! That's what it was... electric r/c plane. Too bad the camera work isn't too good!

nice.... different take on the whole rocketeering thing. I remember shooting these off when I was young back in the 80's and burning myself badly with a C-5 rocket motor lighting it off of a car battery after my rocket burned up on launch one time. was quite the experience
