I use this website and click on tire fitment guide to the upper right corner. If your suburban is higher in the back you may want to install a leveling kit to facilitate larger tires. Keep in mind that stock rims do not have enough back space for probably anything larger than 31". When they are installing your tires make sure they don't rub before you pay for them and drive away.

x2 those are great tires and a good size too! If you want you can try 285 70 16 too but they will be more expensive and probably will rub at full lock

I have also heard bad things including premature wear.

a 16 inch wheel will make it look more agressive (it makes the tire look bigger)
