    Default Newbie needing sroodo help

OK, Have a 94 gmc sonoma 4.3 with 214000 miles on it, CPI... I just replaced my vehicle speed sensor(VSS) on my transmission due to loss of movement in my odometer, speedometer, tripometer, no cruise either.. so i replaced it... Two days later the speedo has stopped working... As far as i can tell the odometer is till working.. Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to the site. If your odometer is still working, then your speedometer has died. This was a fairly common problem on the S-10's and sonoma's. you need to replace your cluster. you can get them off ebay pretty cheap. Here's a link to one I just found for $69 plus shipping:

    Hope this helps

Could be a short in the cluster, or just by some chance the cluster may have been close to death when the speed sensor went out, then after it was replaced, the cluster worked for a bit, then died.
