    Question Front brake issue

The other week I had to put the brake pedal to the floor to avoid a car and my left front stayed like 75% locked up while turning until I shut the engine off, I am not sure if the right was the same way. Once I shut the truck off I can start it right back up and its fine. Why would it be doing this? It has done it again since then. I am still learning so dont laugh if its something stupid.

I would, inspect your brake pads and calipers for wear or binding. Something prevented the calipers from relieving pressure off your pads. also wouldn't hurt to bleed your brake system. If it were my truck, I'd probably look into replacing the calipers and pads all together and get your rotors turned. It also might be your brake pump malfunctioning, who knows.
