    Question 1997 rear disc brake conversion?

    My friend has an axle from a 2002 GMC that will fit my 1997 Silverado, my truck has drum brakes in the rear, but I want to change to disc brakes, this axle has them, i was just wondering if anyone knows what needs to be done in order to have this working properly, any changes to the brake control unit, master cylinder, etc? Thanks for your help.
