    Default 1997 Rear disc brake conversion

    My friend has an axle from a 2002 GMC that will fit my 1997 Silverado, my truck has drum in the rear, but I want to change to disc brakes, this axle has them, i was just wondering if anyone knows what needs to be done in order to have this working properly, any changes to the brake control unit, master , etc? Thanks for your help.
