Wow, anyone want to go into the Home Safe Installation business with me? Looks like it's all the rage, safe stores can't keep their units in stock and are having the best years they've ever had, some are like four times better than they were last year.
Just to show you that folks have money and they want to keep it safe, bad part is then when people sit on their money and don't spend it ... that can lead to a recession or even a depression.

There are a lot of safe manufactures in orange county. I can't believe the prices for a decent gun safe. Anywhere between 700 to 1600 before install.

I just put a Liberty safe in my house. Man, that thing was HEAVY. Just my brother, me and an appliance dolly. We decided not to go down the stairs as originally planned.

I've heard that now people are just using oak boxes and burying them in their yards since safe stores are running out of safes...

A few hours to get it from my driveway to the room its in now. That includes going up the hall and back again when we realized that we couldn't get it through the door with the box still on. I just anchored it into the floor beams. I should anchor it to the wall too, but I live in a rental. The floor I can cover with the carpet again, the wall, not so much.
Well you could just carpet the wall when you wanted to leave hehe.

My dad and I snagged a bank safe a bunch of years back. That thing was sooo heavy. unfortunately we brought it back to the house on a trailer and I think we messed up the lock in doing so as the combo doesn't work anymore.![]()
