    Default '07 1500C vs 1500K

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 2007 Sub 1500C and the 1500K? If you can point in the right virtual direction (url or website) that would be fine also.

    Default If 1500K means 4WD...

If 1500K refers to 4WD does this mean that all "K" models have open rear differentials or is this only optional?

My K1500 has a factory locker rear.

1500 modles are on a 1/2 ton platform. Currently, C moeles are 2 wheel drive and K are 4 wheel drive modles. 2500 modles are 3/4 ton platforms and 3500 are 1 ton platforms.
Mine is a K2500HD meaning 4 wheel drive, 3/4 ton payload platform, and Heavy Duty.
    Hope that helps.

I'm also fairly new to GM 'stuff".My 1st GM was a 2001 Prizm(corolla clone) in 2003(good reliable transportation-vanilla as can be)-second was the 98 Suburban in 2007 (very good, very reliable-and not vanilla).

I had no idea what that C and K stuff meant until I went part hunting and saw all the C's and K's.

This is the right site for that sort of info.
