What's your favourite car/truck been so far?

Just curious as to what everyone's favourite car or truck (or other) has been, past or present. If you don't have it anymore... why now?

My favourite was a Plymouth Roadrunner, 1974 with a 400 in it. Bought it a few weeks before coming down to the US to marry my wife. It made most of the journey down and tried it's best... after a two day drive the transmission ended up giving out ONE HOUR from my destination (Denver).

The transmission got fixed but the car was sold a few months later. I only owned it for less than a year but it didn't even take a few days of ownership before it became number one on my favourites list and it's been there every since. A few close 2nds, but none quite as nice as that orange Roadrunner.

'72 VW Beetle hands down. That thing is so fun to dart around the streets on and after I get money for the rebuild it will be pretty spiffy!

can i ask what happened to it??

well i cant really say what was my fav yet. But I do have to say is I really miss my civic. I could really fly in that thing. I put way more money into it then if was worth but I do have to say it was what got me to understand cars so much.

The 1969 Z/28 Camaro I bought when I got back from Viet Nam. It was stolen 3 times in 4 months once I got out of the Army and moved to the Houston area. First two times the thieves screwed up the ignition and body, but last time they found the shell rolled over in the woods North of Houston. Sure miss that one!

Well, for GP, 1975 Cadillac Sedan Deville, Med. Silver, Crush Blue Cloth interior, Half Vinyl top with Opera windows with the 472 CI motor. Man that car was pimp, the old man had it for a month, bought it from him and then it Parties/Girls and fun in the city. I was 17/18 yrs old when I owned that ride, still remember everything that happended, for an Old Timer............

With my Sierra being my 1st vechicle its my favorite!

but one of those Rolling Big Power 2500hd Dmx c.c. Chevys "Muderd out" would look pretty nice in my driveway

Its a tie between 3 for me:

1991 Fire Bird GTA, Special Edition Supercharged 350 fully loaded, bought new to take to Japan when I transfered (didnt find out until I got there that gas was $3.00 a gallon in 1991 and I wouldnt be able to afford to drive the car) I kept this car 14 years.

1994 Toyota/Lightning 4x4 pick-up, 2.3 ltr Turbo Charged. Bought this one new and sold it 5 years later. When I transfered to Italy I foolishly decided I needed a new truck to take overseas and didnt want to store this one. It had 21k on it when sold, most of its life was spent sitting in the deployment parking lot at NAS Norfolk Va.

1999 Toyota Tacoma, bought new in 99, I still own this one it drives about 3-4k a year and just turned over 100k a few months ago. It mostly sits in front of the house, I drive it to work in bad weather. I've finally got it built the way I want it with a Supercharger, in cab roll cage, 6" susp. lift, 35" tires, rock sliders, and custom bumpers. And it sits and collects dust.
