i recently bought a colorado extreme. i already installed a gibson exhaust, and a volant cold air intake. i wanted to put in a performance chip but do not know anything about them. want to put in any performance parts with out burnning to big of a hole in my pocket. any sugjestions?

You have an Xtreme. No "E" at the beginning. haha
The only worthwhile performance mod for your truck whether it's a 4 or 5 cylinder, will be a PCM tune.
The ultimate tune would be a dyno-tune. Other than that, you can check to see if anyone in your area has an HPTuners or EFI Live system to unlock your PCM and modify the factory tune.
Another way would be to go with PCMforless.com
Don't even bother with the ebay "chips" or the JET Performance Stage 1 or Stage 2 chips. They're worthless.~Dan
