i have an 03 sierra with the 5.3 and was wondering what are the best parts for signifigant performance gains. i currently have k&n cai, poweraid tbs, true dual flowmaster exhaust, and hypertech programmer(pos). what are the best rwhp brands, and what about throttle bodies. and has anyone puchased or heard any reveiws about the banks powerpack systems? any suggestions would help, thanks.

welcome to forum. so far sounds like your on right track. get a set of long tube headers and high flow cats then you can do little things like spark plugs (heard this new plug that came out Pulse you will see a 4hp and 4pds od torque at wheels) also synthetic oil ,tranny and gear fluids. i havent heard anything about the banks i know the diesel guys use it. but for gas dont know.

banks gas systems are over rated. for tb's you won't see any hp increase really but it will improve throttle response. I would do long tube header's next for sure then think about going into the motor with a cam and head's if money allows. a real tune at that point will do a lot for you too.

I'm sorry but to buy a kit that cost 5k to get 100rwhp isn't very good bang for the buck. for half that I can get the same hp n/a. I know some kit's have a little more but then can cost more. and turbo's will cost a lot more then that until it's said and done. they have their place but they are not bank for the buck mods.
you can build a turbo setup for around $1200 to $2000 and gain up to 500rwhp what else can you spend that amount of money on to obtain those results besides nitrous oxide? I had a single turbo setup on my old tacoma 2.7 4 cylinder pushing 450 rwhp and maybe invested 1000 bucks in it
