Saw someone else post and didn't want to hijack their thread, so I'll ask my questions here.
'94 K1500. Does it need to be leveled? Most of the people I see ask have a NBS or NNBS, but this may just be because there's more of those trucks than older vehicles.
Also, I saw that turning up the torsion bars on a 4x4 was an option. I've also heard that doing this will throw of the track of the truck and is a bad idea since it puts the axles at an angle they weren't meant to be at.
Anyone with experience with this first hand? Any firsthand horror stories on playing with the torsion bars?
i had made a post of the truth about keys there is a link that will help you out and answer your ? i did the leveling kit on my avalanche which is basically the same as the burb. i turned the keys up and added longer shocks because the stock shocks will bottem out. i also did same to rear and noticed a big dif in handling. if you do it you will need to get the front aligned . so far i havent had any problems. just that tires i got on it might have went one size too big rubs in one spot. hope this help alittle.
