Default GM ends 9-year endorsement deal with Tiger Woods

General Motors Corp. says it will end its endorsement deal with Tiger Woods at the end of the year.* GM said in a statement Monday that it is looking to reduce costs, and that the star golfer also wants more personal time as he expects his second child.

I think that Tiger is a great spokesman for the Buick line. I heard that he even would drive a Buick to some of the events he was playing at, like the Buick Enclave.

Let's have a garage sale for poor Tiger. Buick sponsored him, but all the pics I've seen of him and family showed a preference for other cars.

It is a sad day that GM has to cut costs like this. Though, I don't really feel at all that Tiger drew me to buy a GM, much less a Buick. He is though an incredible golfer. A man amongst boys.
