Hey guys was just wondering what would work the best for me...got an 03 Silverado and want to put a lift/leveler on it...some kits that i've found are for front and back and i'm not sure if i need to do both...Some of the info i've found would say that i should do both...Any suggestions???? Plus what kind/brand? (No more than a 3in)
And as far as tires just wondered what someone would recomend considering i'm going to keep the stock rims for now...it says i can put 33'X12.50 but what kind/brand? here again.
Thanks in advance.

Tell us more about your truck. Assuming it's a 4X4, you can put a leveling kit in the front (torsion bar keys) and be able to run 33"s on your stock wheels without lifting the rear.

A leveling kit will get 33's to fit but I don't think the stock rims will work. After market rims for that size tire have back spacing usually 4 to 5 inches that offset the wheel allowing for wider tires to fit inside the wheel well. Typically on my truck a leveling kit will allow for 33" max and a 6" lift allowas for 35 max.
Good luck.

Thanks guys...Well unfort I only have a 4.8L so no 4X4...i know i know....but as for tightening the bars is a no go considering I don't have them...I'm running on coiled over shocks.
And as far as the tires what would ya'll recommend? I mean I can't afford new rims so whats my options? Would I have to run like 31's or ? or would 33's work but just not as wide?
Thanks again.

I ran 31's on my stock 99 2500 2wd. I think you could fit 33x11.5 or x10.5 on the stock wheels.

i would think just basic advice, don't do anything that comprimises your steering geometry to much ,somthin tells me that you might have torsion bars in the front ,am i correct? and then you could probably do somthin inexpensive for the rear maybe blocks but i don't know100% if those are safe, i'm more into lowered trucks so this is just what i've heard.. hope it gives u a start

as for your tire brand question I have a few questions back for you. Are you gong to be offroad with your truck ever? Is your driving almost all on road? are you looking for something aggressive or more streetable? there are so many tires out there haha

Honestly very little. I want the bigger look with the capabilities to do so. Just think they look better lifted than lowered..sorry lowered fans (no disrespect). And pretty much all my driving is on road.
I was thinking about BF Goodrich's All T's...any one got thoughts on those or something better or something out there that I'd be interested in ?
Thanks

The BFG AT are an excellent performing and looking tire. They are great in pretty much anything. Good choice, You can never go wrong with them and you will definitely enjoy them
