    Default Advertising Observation

Running this site with all the traffic does cost money, but we've been able to pay for everything with Ads and folks buying stuff like Club Window Stickets, etc.

Inside some of the ad windows they are clearly in-house ads, those are companies that want to help us out in exchange for us helping them out. But there is also a space for anyone to advertise though one of the big ad-selling companies out there (not to name names...).

GM has been clearly targeting this site with ads, that's very cool. But have people seen the ads for other trucks and even cars on here? Ford and Toyota have been getting their ads in (we have no control realy), just wondering if anyone else saw that as they're all dynamicly generated so everyone seems something different.

    Just an observation.

I've seen a few for Ford and Toyota. In fact as I type this above it is an Ad for the new 09 Ford F-150 with "Standard Trailer Sway Control".

Yeah I clicked on that and watched the demos. My conclusion (as I had the 05 F150 FX4) is that sway was a huge problem. I don't think that ford can really fix it with break controling. And I really liked the video of the bed bouncing by the cab. It was out of control on my old truck. Sometimes on the freeway the bed would move so much that I could actually see it in the side view mirors and thought it was a car passing me.
