    Default 03 Suburban Mirror

I ordered a replacement mirror for my 1500. The plugs coming from the replacement mirror do not match the plugs from the wiring harness of the car. The parts co insists that it is the correct mirror (turn signal indicator, remote). Are there adapters for the wiring harness? Should I cut the plugs off and direct wire it? Does anyone have advice on how to wire it? THank you. I searched the forum but could not find any applicable info.

sounds like you may have been sent the wrong mirrior.

I would not mess with cuttng the wires, If its an option I would prolly send it back to the seller.

i know on some 99 GM SUV they had 2 different heated mirrors one was electrical like the rear window defrost and the other was a fluid that heated, they need to run the VIN to find if it had fluid or electrical mirrors maybe on newer ones they made a different plug if they still have two different mirrors, and the fluid mirrors can only be purchased from GM and they are $600 a piece, your better off going to a good auto body shop and asking them, they are usually more knowledgeable then the parts idiot at the dealership

No, do not the cut the plugs before exhausting all other resources and damaging the part and then you can not return. Did you get the part from the dealer or aftermarket? Post correct about Elect./Liquid
mirrors, appears yours are electrical. Since this is the case, there are several types with all features and appears you have gotten wrong one, sorry. Was the place local and if so did you take the mirror with you and match up? Need to know where it came from first.....
