    Default 2004 silverado with torsion bar help

    Hey i have an 2004 silverado 2wd with torsion bars and i want to lower it a little bit but cant find a kit for it. so if anyone has done this can you please let me know what you do did or give me a link to a kit that you know of. Thanks

    if its a 2wd i dont think you have torsion bars, unless it has been alterd
    the 4wd models have t bars.

    im probably wrong, but i think that if it was a Z71 2wd then it had the torsion bars and was 2wd, but i could be wrong

    and here are some drop keys for it, they drop it 1-3" adjustable

    No it definatly has torsion bars and its only 2wd. it is an LS model and it came with the factory 20" rims if that helps at all

    My '06 non Z71 2wd came with torsion bars as well, but I'm raising mine so I can't help with the lowering!

    I don't know if this will work but you can try re-indexing your torsion keys

    and what do you mean by indexing the keys?

    Stock, my truck sat 37" in the rear and 34 1/2" in the front on 245/70/17's. I simnply turned the 18mm bolt clockwise until the front sat level with the rear. I am new to these trucks as well, so I am not sure what indexing the keys means. I am hoping that some larger tires will raise the truck a little more. Here are a few pics after raising the front.
