    Default How to disable DRL

    Hello,
    I have a silverado 2008 and i would like to disable my Day Time Running lights so i can install my HID.
    Does anyone know?

    the only way i know of is to turn your headlight knob back one click to where it says auto, (it will bounce back to the auto setting) but the DRL's will be off. However, every time you go to start the truck you will have to shut them off that way. That is the only way i know of

    You should be able to just yank out the DRL fuse. I don't believe there is anything on that circuit other than the DRL themselves.

    I just pulled the fuses out for my HIDS. I think they are fuse 31 and 33 under the hood.

    It's still fuses #31 and #33 in the under-hood fuse box.
